NNPC HMO LTD Plans are restricted to partner hospitals within our network of providers
Every subscriber MUST present an NNPC HMO LTD membership card on every visit to the hospital
NNPC HMO LTD health plans are not transferrable once purchased
NNPC HMO LTD enrollees are only entitled to services under the plan they have purchased, services outside this will be paid for by the enrollee
Cost of transportation to NNPC HMO partner hospitals are not covered.
Ambulance services are subject to availability.
Medical treatment overseas is not covered.
Coverage of pre-existing condition is subject to full disclosure by the enrollee
NNPC HMO and partner hospitals will not be liable for late or non-arrival of ambulances responding to calls due to situations beyond their control.
Optical and Dental care services will not be covered in the first 3 months of commencement on the scheme
Drug refill for chronic conditions will not be covered in the first 3 months of commencement on the scheme for Senior Citizen plans only.
Surgeries (minor, intermediate & major) and Mental Health Services will not be covered in the first year for All Plans. In the case of Senior Citizen Plans, Cancer Care and Intensive Care Services will not also be covered in the first year. These benefits will be accessible to enrollee on renewal of the scheme.
Commencement Date: Health plan purchased will be active after 10 working days, Enrollees will commence access to health care after 10 working days from the date of purchase.
NNPC HMO LTD do not cover any treatment that is not specified as benefit under this policy.
Cancellation/Termination under the policy
Cancellation/termination at your instance: If you decide to terminate this Health Insurance Policy, you must notify us in writing in advance and we will be obliged to terminate your cover from the beginning of the succeeding month after receipt of your instructions but not earlier than 15 days from receipt of your written cancellation instruction. Provided the enrolment / access Cards in original form has been surrendered to us, we will refund your premium paid only if access to care has not been utilized.
Cancellation/termination at our instance: We may terminate your Policy upon failure to renew your premium when due or supply false or misleading information either fraudulent or material misrepresentation to obtain Health insurance, by sending 15 days' notice via registered letter to you at your last known address and in such event.
